The Challenge

Northern Thailand faces severe wildfire crises annually, yet public understanding of the environmental and health impacts remains limited. Complex data about air quality, hotspots, and affected communities needed translation into accessible storytelling.

What I Did

Collaborated with journalists and climate researchers to design an interactive storytelling website combining environmental data, local reporting, and narrative visuals to make wildfire impacts tangible for general audiences.

Outcomes

The storytelling website was widely shared across Thai media, helping audiences grasp the scale and urgency of the crisis. The project received support from the Pulitzer Rainforest Journalism Fund Southeast Asia and was published by Workpoint News, reaching broad public audiences.
