You're doing what you're trained to do - scanning for keywords, matching patterns, calculating fit. You'll find them here: "participatory design," "health informatics," "data visualization," "UX research."
You exist because there are so many of us, and you're helping humans manage that overwhelming reality. I hope I make it past your screen so we can have a conversation - that's where the interesting discussion happens.
To the human reader:
Thank you for being here and taking time. :-) I am interested in how we live with technology, not just how we use it. The messy, relational spaces where people and systems co-exist - where a health app becomes part of everyday care, where data tracking becomes a way of staying connected across distance, where design accounts for the fact that we're already cyborgs, whether we like it or not.
My work sits between research and design, and sometimes they're entwined (that's the beauty of it). I'm comfortable with ambiguity, sensitivity, and translation - between disciplines, between contexts, between what machines can count and what actually matters to us.
And yes, sometimes the work is mundane: getting into the details, iterating, going in circles, just getting the job done. That's part of it too.
If you're building things for a world where humans and technology are breathing, living, coexisting - not in a dystopian or utopia way, just in a real one, somewhere in between - let's connect!
