The Challenge

Healthcare policymakers need quick guidance on evaluating NCD prevention investments, but comprehensive reports take time to absorb.

Approach

Working with HITAP (Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program), I designed an interactive checklist website introducing their "Best Buys, Wasted Buys, Contestable Buys" framework. The platform offers a simple entry point to understanding evidence-based NCD procurement before engaging with the full handbook.

What I Did

• Designed linear flow explaining the evaluation framework

• Created interactive checklist for NCD intervention assessment

• Developed summary poster visualizing core concepts

• Built gateway to full handbook download

Outcome

A functional tool supporting evidence-based healthcare procurement decisions in a friendly and simple way.

Personal Note

This small healthcare policy project sparked my interest in how design can make complex health systems more accessible, ultimately leading me to pursue health design research at TU Delft after years of design work.
